Can you post your project here?

Posts featuring unofficial goods or personal collections, including those you made for sale, must be posted on Merchandise Mondays. Obvious self-promotion is banned, but linking to your own art page or YouTube channel is permitted as long as it is not an obvious advertisement.

Before you post: Unofficial merchandise or items you made for sale must be posted on Merchandise Mondays. Obvious advertisements are prohibited, but linking to your own art page or YouTube channel is allowed. Rule 10 states 'No Obvious Self-Promotion', but links to personal art/YouTube pages are fine.

The rules, in their words

1. Posts Titles must start with a tag in brackets. Post Flair also required.: Please use one or more of the required tags [with brackets] at the beginning of your post title so we know which game you are posting about. 2. Mark Spoilers: Minor spoilers such as area titles, dungeon names, and character references are allowed but all Major spoilers including boss weaknesses, puzzle solutions, and any large story plot points must be tagged and marked at all times. Comments must use the format `>!text goes here!<`, ex: >!text goes here!< Titles must always be vague enough to not include spoilers. Submissions please click the "spoiler" button after making your post. See also our [Spoiler Policy](/r/zelda/w/rules/spoilerpolicy).
3. Art Sources and Permission Required: All art posts must name the artist in the post title **AND** have a clear comment containing a direct link to the original source with proof of permission to rehost, if applicable. Otherwise, submit as a link post instead! If you want to post your own work, please include the [OC] tag in the post title. A link to your art page or art post still helps! Per [user feedback in December 2022](https://redd.it/zjnzkh), we do not permit AI-Generated Art here.
4. No Low Quality Posts or Memes not about Zelda: These types of posts may be removed: * Look-alikes * Bandwagon / copycat posts * Social Media Screenshots * Pictures-of-text, Signpost memes, Tier-Lists * Non-Zelda Memes - Memes are allowed, but must be about the games. Using screenshots from the games to talk about things not from the games will be removed. * Intentionally Poor Drawings - Except for Original Content * Polls that do not generate discussion * Posts with bad titles [See more details on our wiki](/r/zelda/w/rules).
5. Reposts: [Use the search function](https://www.reddit.com/r/help/comments/mwjd4r/how_do_i_search_a_subreddit/), check the top posts of all time, and check the hot page to see to if your post has already been posted. Reposts in general are fine, but reposts within two months will be taken down. If it's on the first page of all time, currently on the hot page, or has been posted within the past 2 months, it may be removed. When reporting reposts, a link to the original post is required.
6. Be Civil: Be civil, try and keep the peace. Aggressive personal attacks, hate speech, witchhunting, and trolling will all be removed but small disagreements are nothing to worry about. 7. No Piracy: No discussion or sharing of game ROMs, ISOs or any copyrighted material that may have been pirated. Emulator discussion however is completely fine, including speedrunning, randomizers, texture packs, and fangames.
8. No NSFW content: Pornographic content, nudity, and excessive depictions of violence are all **not permitted**. Some NSFW is fine as long as it's tagged and related to Zelda, to the extent depicted in the games. If your post contains adult themes or depictions of blood/injury, please mark it NSFW. This doesn't mean hypersexualized stuff is okay. No sexy NSFW stuff, go elsewhere.
9. No Transactions: No sales or purchases. This is not a marketplace, if someone specifically requests to buy something you have created, you may respond with a link to another reputable place (e.g. Etsy) but no direct transactions. 10. No Obvious Self-Promotion: Linking to something hosted on your art page or YouTube channel is fine but any obvious advertisements will be removed.
11. Merchandise Mondays: Feel free to post NEWS about new official merchandise whenever you like but for *unofficial goods*, or *photos of your personal collection*, please post them on **Merchandise Mondays**. This rule applies to anything you bought that you are showing off, or anything you made that is for sale.
12. Screenshot Saturdays: Opening titles, game overs, file select screens, game endings, Dawn of the Next Day and "funny" names for Link are all limited to **Screenshot Saturdays** because they're posted so often. Other interesting screenshots that don't fall into one of the above categories are welcome during weekdays as well.
13. Self-Post Sundays: **Self-Post Sundays** are our main discussion day. On those days we only allow text posts *directly about the games themselves*. Posting images and links or anything else as self-posts on Sundays will be removed. Discussion posts are still welcome on any day of the week.
