The subreddit is focused on funny content from young people on YouTube. Self-promotion or posts about personal projects are not mentioned in the rules and appear to be outside the scope of the subreddit's purpose. Users should ensure their posts adhere to the general content guidelines and avoid banned topics.

Before you post: Self-promotion or "I built X" posts are not consistent with the subreddit's stated purpose and are likely to be removed as off-topic or potentially as shitposts, especially if not related to the core theme of young people on YouTube.

The rules, in their words

1. Posts must not contain banned topics: ###Some of the banned topics: 1. Comments begging for likes/"I like my own comment" 2. Youtube shorts (comments on YT shorts are still allow) 3. "Stop disliking my videos"/"Who unsubbed from me" 4. Search result 5. Children asking to be on the sub 6. 2. No politics: This includes posting about kids having any political ideology or any type of post that could cause political arguments. We don't want Redditors having political arguments on this sub, that's it. This is a subreddit about "kids saying things that are funny", NOT "middle schoolers discovered politics for the first time".
3. Mods have the discretion of removing posts that they deem to be shitposts or satire: Please don't shitpost on this subreddit; it is made for one thing. What we consider shitposts are: META posts which aren't about the subreddit, rickroll posts, selfposts, and satire posts. Shitpost sunday is an exception, and please flair your shitposts as "SUNDAY SHITPOST", but please try to keep it meta.
4. Censor the kid's username (if a channel) and personal info: Please make sure to censor the channel name and any personal information (email, phone number, etc.). Predators are lurking on this sub all the time.
5. It must be on social media (no Reddit): Read the friggin' subreddit name. Things like videogame chats, Discord, texting groups, and DMs are not considered social media. These are not allowed as they are mostly satire and are easily faked. App reviews belong at r/youngpeoplegoogleplay, not here!
6. Screenshots of YouTube Shorts aren't allowed: These types of posts are really unoriginal and not even funny. However comments from YouTube shorts are allowed

8. No malicious behaviour: This is not a hateful subreddit. It's for friendly, good-faith appreciation and mockery of kids' YouTube comments. So don't attempt to dox, harass, intimidate or harm anybody from a screenshot posted to this subreddit or any of the subreddit's users. (Original rule by u/SillyConclusion0)

10. NSFW (No Elsagate): Porn or Fetishization are not allowed! It doesn't matter if it is made by/for young people or not. These are banned. If the post only includes the comment then it is fine (Mark NSFW as well). Anything else like gore must be tagged as such.
