Can you post your project here?

Posts must be original, wholesome memes that are relatable and uplifting. Direct image links are required, and titles must be descriptive and wholesome, avoiding Reddit meta-references. Content should focus on the human experience, not just cute animals.

Before you post: Self-promotion or "I built X" style posts are generally not allowed as they likely violate the "general, not specific" rule (Rule 3) and the focus on relatable, universal themes. Content should be purely wholesome memes.

The rules, in their words

1. Must be a wholesome meme: All posts must be wholesome memes. Wholesome = uplifting, life-affirming, motivating, or nice-ing up something rude. Meme = Image with text added For a more detailed list, please refer to [this wiki page](https://www.reddit.com/r/wholesomememes/wiki/allowedformats).
2. Original Content Only - No Reposts: Only Original Content (OC) is allowed [UPDATED September 2024] No longer allowed: -Screenshots of social media -Comics that you personally did not create or edit
3. Be general, not specific: Memes should be relatable, with universally uplifting themes. Avoid posts that promote an ideology, religion, or brand over others, and posts that show individuals' politeness without some universal theme. If most people cannot identify themselves in your meme, then it is not a good fit. Memes about controversial themes, people, and/or institutions are not allowed either.
4. No NSFW content: Please avoid submitting NSFW content. PG-13 is fine, but please tag those "NSFW" for young or sensitive users.
5. No trolling, harassing, or general rudeness: Please no trolling, harassment, rudeness, or behaviour unbecoming of the wholesome users we know you to be. Keep comments civil and be respectful of your fellow users. Be nice. This is a happy place. No proselytizing. Keep your religion, your politics, your diet, and any other crusade you might carry to yourself. We come here to get away from arguing and politics and the like, so please respect that by keeping your agendas to yourself.
6. No personal info or private communication: Please do not post personal info, yours or others. All names should be blocked out, except public figures. Also, private communication & private posts are private; please don't post them here.
7. Post must link to image directly.: Please link to images directly. This makes browsing easier for those using RES or through a mobile device
8. Low Effort / Meta Meme: Please do not submit low effort or meta (referencing Reddit) memes. This includes "Let's get this to the front page!" type posts, "You have been visited by", "people who sort by new", "stop scrolling", or posts about Reddit users, mods, subs (including this one), or karma. Examples of low effort: "Everybody liked that" and "Because that's what heroes do" This isn't an exhaustive list, and will be subject to mod discretion.
9. Please make an effort with your title: Titles should be descriptive and preferably funny. At the very least it should be wholesome and related to your post. Titles that ask "Is this wholesome?" or something similar will be removed. Titles should not include any Reddit references (meta) such as other subreddits, users, upvotes, or something such as "I saw this on X and thought I would share"
10. Cute Animals ≠ Wholesome: Please keep your post related to the human experience. Try subs like r/rarepuppers or r/aww instead.
