Can you post your project here?

Self-promotion posts are not explicitly mentioned and are not directly covered by the existing rules. The subreddit focuses on content directly related to the Westworld series. Promoting a personal project or product would likely fall under rule 3 ("No non-Westworld content") if it is not directly tied to the show.

Before you post: Rule 3 states all submissions must directly relate to the Westworld series. A side project or product would not fit this criteria.

The rules, in their words

1. No spoilers in titles or unmarked future spoilers: Spoilers in titles are not allowed. Keep in mind that we try to judge the title based on how a user who does not know the spoiler would understand the title. A submission concerning future spoilers, such as episode previews or leaked information, should also make that fact clear in the title so that up-to-date watchers are not accidentally spoiled on future information.
2. Please spoiler tag your submissions if the image or text contents have a spoiler: Use this rule to report any submission you think needs the "spoiler" function applied to it to hide the content by default. You should not use this report reason if you think the text of the title is a spoiler, use the above report for that.
3. No non-Westworld content: The content of submissions should directly relate to the Westworld series or movie. Submissions that are only related through the title, or are about the cast and crew working on other shows/movies, or are otherwise only superficially related to Westworld, will be removed. Submissions concerning the cast & crew as people are okay, but this isn't the place to post screenshots or videos of them in other movies and shows.
4. No untagged spoilers where they aren't allowed: The comment will be removed if it does not **correctly** use spoiler tags to obfuscate future information derived from episode previews, IMDb and other sources of future information, such as leaks. Depending on the thread, untagged spoilers concerning such information is allowed if the title clearly denotes it as the topic of conversation. E.g. for a thread titled "Episode 2 Preview", users are free to discuss the preview in the comments without having to use the spoiler tags.
5. No piracy: Linking to or requesting torrents/streams/downloads/etc. of Westworld is not allowed. Admitting that you pirate is fine, using the subreddit to try to pirate or to facilitate piracy is not allowed.
6. No uncivil behavior: Comments that are uncivil, trollish, bigoted, racist, etc. will be removed and the user possibly banned. The most important criteria for banning is if the user is being hostile towards another user, as compared to making generalized statements. E.g. stating racist beliefs is different from being racist towards another user.
7. No non-Westworld maze posts
8. "I don't like this post": Use this option if you aren't sure your report fits the above categories, but that you still believe a moderator should review and possibly take action on this post.
9. No low effort posts or comments: Low quality posts and/or comments, and the discussions spawned from them, can be subject to removal at moderator discretion.
