Can you post your project here?

The subreddit is about celebrating trashiness and humor, not serious topics or personal attacks. Posts should be funny and not resemble content from other subs like r/iamatotalpieceofshit. You must avoid posting actual garbage, memes, novelty items, or content that is disgusting, abusive, or promotes misinformation.

Before you post: Rule R2F explicitly bans novelty items. Other rules ban memes, and the general theme of the subreddit is not conducive to self-promotion of side projects.

The rules, in their words

1. Rule 1A: Follow Site Wide Rules: Posts/Comments failing to follow Reddit's Site Wide Content Policy - will be removed in line with Reddit's ToS. Remember the human. Everyone has a right to use Reddit free of harassment, bullying, and threats of violence. Any user contravening this rule will be met with a robust response from the Mod team.
2. R1B: Bullying/toxic behavior: Be nice. Bigotry will get you banned. Go hate overweight people in your own subreddit. Do not mock people for things they have no control over. Do not post images of people in medical settings or of their medical conditions unless you can prove consent.
3. R1C: No divulging P.I./Witch hunting: Remove all family names / usernames / business names / subreddit names from submissions. Any information that can be used to find the subjects posted here is banned. We don’t care about your reddit drama. No license plates. Do not link to social media, including youtube and reddit.
4. R2A: Not trashy: Posts need to be a *celebration* of trashiness. Posts must be funny. If it makes you angry then it doesn’t belong here. Do not post content more suited for r/iamatotalpieceofshit or r/rage.
5. R2B: Please make an effort with your title
6. R2C: Social media screenshots must include context. No screenshots of just text.: Social media posts must include an image or must be accompanied by some comments on the post to provide context. The profile picture is not context. Screenshots of text are not allowed.
7. R2D: No fake trash/No literal trash/garbage: Images from fake news websites, parody, jokes and satire don't belong here. Don't post memes. Don't post pictures or videos of actual garbage. Litter isn't what this is for.
8. R2E: No recent reposts: Recent reposts (within the past 30 days), and reposts from the all time top submissions will be removed. Excessive spamming of reposts will get you banned. Just because you're new here doesn't mean the things you're posting are.
9. R2F: No novelty items or memes: No mass-produced novelty items such as bumper stickers, t-shirts, truck nuts, flags, or any other products found at Spencer Gifts etc. This isn't where you post every nazi or confederate themed item you ever see in your life. Don't post memes.
10. R2G: No child abuse or animal abuse: Do not post images, videos, blogs or news articles featuring children or animals being harmed. Any user contravening this rule will be met with a robust response from the Mod team.
11. R2H: No disgusting content or porn: No porn, please. We don't need your onlyfans, either. Don't post disgusting things. This isn’t for shock or gore. Temporary bans may follow. Includes, but not limited to urine (and urine bottles), feces, vomit, blood, gore, disgusting bathrooms, disgusting feet.
12. R2I: No soapboxing: Arguing about social or political topics may result in a ban. This includes politics of any kind, religion, gender, race, feminism, men's rights, incel rhetoric, etc. This is a humor subreddit. You are not changing the world by arguing these topics in a subreddit where we laugh at drunk people pissing in public.
13. R2J: No misinformation: Do not post medical, political, or historical misinformation. This includes any anti-vaxx content.
14. R2K: No violent crimes: There are plenty of other subs for violent content. We are not one of them.
