There are no specific rules regarding self-promotion or sharing personal projects, and the subreddit focuses solely on content of animals doing 'tippytaps'. Any post must clearly show an animal excitedly tapping its paws.

Before you post: Self-promotion is not explicitly mentioned as allowed or disallowed. However, all content must strictly adhere to the definition of 'tippytaps' (animals excitedly tapping their paws). Posts that do not meet this core content requirement will likely be removed.

The rules, in their words

1. Suitable Content: All posts should clearly contain animal tippytaps. A tippytap can be defined as an animal excitedly tapping their paws in anticipation of something (e.g. food or play). We allow things like front or back paw tapping, cat kneading, and insect taps. We don't allow zoomies, sleepy taps, humans, robots, or objects. There are other subreddits more suitable to those.
2. Non-OC Content: We allow non-OC content on the subreddit in the form of video or cross-posts. However, we do not allow reposts on the subreddit. If you want to post content that isn't yours, please check the subreddit first. If multiple people post the same video, we will allow the first (oldest) one, all the others will be seen as reposts and removed.
3. Be Respectful: Everyone participating on the subreddit should put their fellow human first. We don't allow racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, violence, harassment, or any other forms of disrespectful behaviour.
4. Animal Cruely: We don't allow depictions or mentions of animal cruelty or other violence against animals.
