Self-promotion and spam are explicitly banned according to rule 6. Accounts found violating spam policies will be permanently banned unless they can demonstrate constructive contributions across Reddit.

Before you post: Rule 6 states 'No spam or self-promotion', with a zero-tolerance policy and permanent bans for violators.

3. No piracy.: We maintain a zero-tolerance "No Piracy" policy in order to keep r/TheWalkingDead legitimate for the cast and crew that have worked with us in the past or the future. To honor that, posts or comments linking/asking for any type of unauthorized distribution of any The Walking Dead content will be removed, and will result in a ban. We recommend that you use any of the following official services: * Google Play Store * PlayStation Store * Microsoft Store * Netflix * Hulu * AMC+
4. No spoilers.: * Do not include spoilers of any kind within the title of your post. * All spoilers from any other The Walking Dead media needs to be properly flaired. * Do not discuss or spoil other shows outside of The Walking Dead franchise.
5. No low-effort content.: We enjoy the flow of fresh new content and discussion, and therefore reserve the right to remove the following: * Repost/common topic * Trolling * Complaint posts * "Dear blog" posts * "Quitting the show" posts * "Should I come back?" posts * No Voting Games, Polls, Elimination Games, ect * Anything otherwise recognized as low-effort Please use the search function to find the content you are looking for.
6.
