This subreddit is not for sharing personal projects or launches. Posts must be about unsuccessful attempts, not personal creations, and follow Reddit's general rules. Self-promotion is not permitted.

Before you post: Self-promotion or posts about personal projects are implicitly banned as the subreddit is dedicated to documenting unsuccessful attempts by others.

3. Title should be a continuation of "There was an attempt"
4. No posts that are pornographic or exhibit death: No posts that are pornographic or exhibit death. Only exception to the death rule is if the content is newsworthy or is being discussed by news outlets and that you have gotten permission from the mods. Please use modmail to ask before you post anything of that nature.
5. No recent reposts from this subreddit (moderator discrection)
6. Must be a real attempt. No staged attempts
7. All posts must show an unsuccessful attempt
8. No troll posting/harassment/links: Posts on this subreddit should not be used to troll or harass other redditors. Newsworthy screenshots are allowed but posts directing users to act towards anyone is considered harassment and will be removed. Off-site links are not allowed. If you want to post a news story just submit a screenshot of the post and attach the link to the image or include it in the comments. Also you can not farm drama off of the posts of this sub as well. Metaposting will result in permanent ban.
9. No Racism/Hatespeech: This subreddit has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to racist and hateful rhetoric. Any users found to be disseminating hate on this subreddit or anywhere on reddit will be removed from the community. https://www.reddit.com/r/therewasanattempt/wiki/civility
10. No supporting Apartheid crimes against humanity: Those who engage in the dehumanization and support of apartheid anywhere on reddit will be banned.

12. No Bad Vibes: Submissions and comments that promote bad vibes are not allowed. This includes meta trolling/shitstirring. Please keep your vibes immaculate at all times while on TWAA.
13. Low Effort Posts: Posts that are low efforts are not allowed. This includes meta posts.
