Self-promotion or 'I built X' posts are not explicitly mentioned in the rules. The subreddit focuses on sharing image links of movie details. Any post not adhering to the direct image link rule or other general conduct rules will likely be removed.

Before you post: No specific rules for self-promotion, but must follow 'Direct image links only' and general conduct rules.

The rules, in their words

1. Direct image links only.: Direct image links only.
2. Be nice.: Be nice. If you aren't nice we'll ban you. No meta-reddit attack posts.
3. Brigading: Commenting or voting on linked threads here is against site-wide rules. Anyone found doing it will be banned and reported to the admins.
4. No meta-reddit attack posts: No posts that are about or mention other subreddits, posts or users, either in the title, as a top level comment or visible on the image.
5. Banned Topics: *Posts about a minority being cast in roles previously played by white actors. *Posts about Politics. Political figures, elections, topics, etc. This list may be expanded as time goes on.
6. Shitty TV details are allowed here. Shitty game details are not.: If you report a post for not being a movie, you will be ignored. Shitty game details do have their own sub --> r/shittygamedetails. Therefore, shitty game details are not allowed here.
