Post with careYou can post, but there are rules to clear first.
Can you post your project here?
Posts describing a project or product are not explicitly covered by the rules. The rules focus on recipe sharing, requiring specific formatting, original text recipes in comments, and limitations on linked content.
Before you post: Self-promotion is not directly addressed. Posts must follow strict recipe formatting, including providing the recipe in the comments, and only allow specific image hosting links. Submitting a link to a blog without the recipe text in the post body is banned.
The rules, in their words
- Post Format: All recipes must be formatted properly. (you'll get an orangered on comments). How to submit a well formatted recipe can be found [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/recipes/wiki/index#wiki_how_to_format_a_recipe_post). Only ONE link per thread. **The process is:** * Post your image * Make a text recipe as a comment * Copy paste the url of your reddit post * Send the mods a modmail, with the copy paste of the url to your reddit post. We will manually review and coach or approve the post.
- Blog post: We require formatted text recipes for every link post. If you are posting a link to a blog, you may include it in the body of your link post. Just posting a link to a blog will get you banned. Only one ;link per thread.
- Food porn: No food porn
- Link Post: Link post must contain the recipe in the comments. We only allow links from imgur.com and i.reddituploads.com. We do not allow videos.
- Recipe Title: Recipes titles should be clear and concise.
