Can you post your project here?

Self-promotion, including the launch of personal projects or products, is not allowed. This subreddit focuses on personal support and sharing experiences related to being raised by narcissistic parents. Any content that appears to be promotional or a fundraiser will be removed.

Before you post: Rule 10 explicitly bans links to GoFundMe, fundraisers, surveys, and research requests. The general focus of the subreddit also implies that 'I built X' or side project posts would not be appropriate.

The rules, in their words

1. No - personal attacks/bigotry/victim-blaming. No advocating for someone else's N or GC sibling.: Be nice. No personal attacks/name calling/bigotry. 5. No advocating violence or revenge, even in jest
6. No linking to Facebook pages, Discords, or chat rooms/groups: Anything from FB will have to be a screenshot hosted on another site with all identifying info censored. If you would like to share a meme or image from Facebook, please rehost it on another site (like imgur.com) and link to it in your post. Any FB screenshots need to be edited so no identifying info is visible. This includes profile pictures and group names. Why no chat groups? 8. No diagnosis by media or drive-by diagnosis.: Media stories and articles often give an incomplete or one sided take on a event or person, as such please only post about people you know well personally. Discussions about fictional characters is allowed in RBN.
9. No linking to estranged parent forums.: Posting these links encourages the parents/estranged individuals (possible abusers) to troll RBN and vice versa. For the safety of this sub, linking to these sites is not permitted.
10. No links to GoFundMe pages, fundraisers, etc. No surveys. No research requests.: If you would like to post these links, please do so in /r/RBNFavors (a sub in the RBN network that allows this type of content). We no longer allow surveys or research requests in this group or in any of the network subreddits.
11. No Graphic, Triggering, or Click-bait Titles
12. Narcissists are not allowed to post or comment here.
13. No generalizing about groups of people.: This includes race, religion, profession, gender, political party, age, ethnicity, etc.
14. No advocating abusive practices.: This includes current controversial ideas in discipline, medicine, or science that are abusive or misinformative. We stick to the verifiable truth as best we can on RBN, and to advocating healthy practices. This also includes anything relating to theft, slander, lawbreaking, etc.
15. No links or recommendations to hate groups.: This includes incel groups, the red pill, MGTOW, TERF groups, fat hate groups, etc.
