Can you post your project here?

Posts need to cite peer-reviewed studies. Blogspam and self-help links are banned. Headlines must be clear and not clickbait.

Before you post: Rule 4 explicitly bans blogspam and Rule 1 requires peer-reviewed citations. Sharing a personal project or product that doesn't meet these stringent academic citation requirements would likely be treated as unsourced material or potentially blogspam, leading to removal.

The rules, in their words

  1. Peer-reviewed citations for all submissions: Submissions need to cite at least one peer-reviewed study. We understand that not all of our members are involved in academia, but submissions should primarily come from journal articles and sourced and long-form articles.
  2. Video submission citations: If your submission is a video that references peer-reviewed research, please comment in the thread with links to the research. Video submissions without such a comment will be removed.
  3. No jokes, low effort-content, or off-topic content: Images, GIFs, jokes, low-effort comments, and content discussing philosophy, religion, and pseudoscience (except when in the context of a study) are not appropriate and will be removed.
  4. No self-help, blogspam, or "guru" websites: Links to self-help, blogspam, “guru” websites, or other unsourced material are not appropriate and will be removed.
  5. No surveys: Please do not post links to your own surveys. If you require participants for a survey, try /r/samplesize or our survey thread.
  6. No clickbait or editorialized headlines: All link posts should have titles that clearly tell the reader what the content is. All posts with clickbait titles, titles that explain nothing about what is in the link, severely editorialized titles, or titles that attempt to promote an agenda will be removed.
  7. Be civil: [reddiquette](https://www.reddit.com/wiki/reddiquette) applies. Please be civil. Name-calling, ad hominems, racism, sexism, and all other forms of bigotry will not be tolerated. We welcome opposing views and perspectives, but comments meant to intentionally deride, mock, or cause harm will be removed. Malicious abusers and/or continued abuse will lead to a ban.
  8. Comments must be on topic: Comments (especially top-level) consisting solely of anecdotes, jokes, memes, or otherwise off-topic remarks will be removed. Your comment is likely to be removed if it's evident you have not read the submission.
  9. No dismissive or anti-science comments: Comments mocking or belittling the field will be removed. If you are concerned about a study's methodology, please elaborate as to why, and not just leave "This is common sense!" or "Well, duh!" posts.
