Can you post your project here?

Self-promotion, advertising, and selling are banned. You must only post your own original artwork. Posts must be primarily about painting and meet a 100 combined karma requirement.

Before you post: Posts cannot be for advertising, self-promotion, commissions, or selling work. A minimum of 100 combined karma is required to post. Only original artwork is permitted.

The rules, in their words

1. Be respectful and civil.: Please be respectful and civil to everyone, always.
2. No advertising of any kind.: This includes linking to socials, any type of self-promotion, and discussion of commissions or purchasing of work. Use /r/artstore or /r/artcommissions for advertising. Please put the former on your user profile where people can find them, and do the latter via DM.
3. Only post your own works.: Please only post artwork that you created or have permission from the artist to post. For posting an established artist's work, please use /r/art or /r/paintings. For painting identification, try /r/whatisthispainting.
4. No reposts.: Do not repost content.
5. NSFW paintings are not allowed.: Please keep all content PG-13 by posting SFW (Safe For Work) art only.
6. Painting posts only.: Posts should either be paintings or be primarily about painting. Commentary should focus on painting. Videos which aren't primarily painting, or could have been an image, will be removed. Please make sure the painting occupies most of the frame of images you post. For posts relating to home or wall painting, please use /r/HomeImprovement or /r/DIY. For other types of painting, try /r/paint or /r/finishing.
7. One post per day.
8. This is not a mental health support subreddit.: Posts which are looking for mental health support, including any type of artistic blocks, are not appropriate for this subreddit. You might find better support and audiences for this type of post in: /r/mentalhealth /r/artistlounge We may remove posts which appear to be mental health related support seeking. We care, but this isn't the place.
9. Use existing resources.: There are a lot of resources in the sidebar and in past threads related to learning to paint. Please, search first--there's quite a lot of information already available on the subject in our subreddit. Additionally, there are sister subreddits which are specifically focussed on learning and technique: /r/learntodraw /r/artfundamentals /r/artistlounge We may remove posts which we think do not use existing resources.
10. Critiques must be constructive.: Critiques which are just negative and offer no constructive feedback drag the artist down, and they drag the community down. We build each other up, here. If you only have negative things to say, please say nothing instead.
11. No "is this good for x" posts, "what style is this" posts, or requests to name your artwork.: These types of posts are usually used to feed AI models and AI art is not permitted here under any circumstances. Asking questions of this nature will result in a swift removal of your post.
12. 100 karma is required to POST.: Due to the amount of spam we receive, you need 100 COMBINED comment+post karma to post in this subreddit.
