Post with careYou can post, but there are rules to clear first.

Can you post your project here?

Posts that are solely for the purpose of promoting a project or product, or simple 'I built X' posts, are not explicitly mentioned, but general rules against spamming (Rule 9) and low-effort posts (Rule 15) would likely apply. Posts should not be vague or clickbait, and if they are pictures, they need context (Rule 11).

Before you post: Avoid spamming (Rule 9) and low-effort posts (Rule 15). Ensure titles are descriptive and not clickbait (Rule 14). If posting pictures, provide context (Rule 11).

The rules, in their words

  1. Illegal Streams/Copyright Material: Absolutely NO ILLEGAL STREAMS or OTHER COPYRIGHT MATERIAL!
  2. Bashing/Name Calling: No Bashing of other Fans. That includes name calling.
  3. Treat Others The Way You Want To Be Treated!: Trash Talking is a part of all sports, but keep it respectful.
  4. Inappropriate Comments/Pictures/Videos: No posting of anything inappropriate. That includes porn of any kind! Do not make sexual comments about female broadcasters. It's ok to say they are attractive, but nothing more than that. Women aren't sex objects!
  5. No Flooding: Don't flood the sub with pictures.
  6. Offensive Words/Language: NO Offensive words, such as: retard(ed), or anything else like that. That includes Racism, Bigotry/Xenophobia/transphobic/homophobic slurs! Not even teasing! This will result in an Automatic Ban from the subreddit.
  7. Duplicate Posts: Do NOT make duplicate posts!
  8. Personal Attacks/Doxing: No Personal Attacks or Doxing! Do NOT harass or stalk anyone! The person could take legal action against you!
  9. Spamming: DO NOT SPAM! (Auto Permanent Ban) https://www.reddit.com/wiki/selfpromotion Lists the rule we use for identifying spam.
  10. NHL Video Games: The Subreddit for the NHL Video Game Series is /r/EA_NHL, not here.
  11. No Memes and Pictures Without Context: No more pictures without any context. Just posting a picture of an old player is low effort and will be removed. Again this includes memes.
  12. No Sexualizing Players, Fans, Others: No posts solely for the purpose of sexualizing players, fans, etc.....
  13. No, Who Should I cheer for Posts: No, who should I cheer for posts. Strangers on the internet don't pick your team. Watch games, watch highlights, find the team you fall in love with. Your team picks you, not strangers on the internet.
  14. No Editorialized Titles: Your Title should be the same as what is on the article. If its not an article with a title, it should be descriptive and not click bait. No vague titles of "What do you think" "Thoughts?" "who will he play for" "do you agree?" etc.... Titles must tell someone what the story is about without clicking it.
  15. No Low Effort Posts: 10) No Low Effort Posts Who is your favourite team? Who is your favourite player? What player do you like on a team you hate? Compare your team to a team in another sport? What made you a hockey fan? Who is underrated/overrated? Player x vs player y, who is better? And Similar posts.
