This subreddit is strictly for original content that is relatable and reflective of the poster. Self-promotion, AI-generated images, and content that could be seen as demeaning, NSFW, or overly edgy are not allowed.

Before you post: Posts must be original content reflective of the poster. AI-generated images and any form of self-promotion are explicitly banned.

The rules, in their words

1. sexism, racism, otherwise demeaning: Most people don't need to worry about this, but we do ban for posts with language or content that is harmful. Common things we see are posts demeaning to women, people of color, religious and cultural minorities, those with disabilities, fat people, sex workers, survivors of trauma/abuse, and gender and sexual minorities. We don't allow wiggle room for irony or reappropration, as we have no way of gauging someone's intent.
2. NSFW or otherwise sexual: nothing NSFW, nothing gross, and even if it's technically safe for work don't post something openly sexual.
3. gumball head: Reactionary nonsense is banned. And no picking fights.
4. twitter jokeman, or a screenshot: fucking screenshot of a fucking twitter jokeman
5. upvote meme: anything that asks for upvotes or karma, such as "upvote in x for y", "if this gets x upvotes I'll y", or "they'll upvote anything"
6. too edgy: If your post is about sensitive subjects, like upsetting news stories or suicide, it isn't appropriate for me irl. Don't post horrible things, even if you're doing so to mock them. We don't allow wiggle room for irony or reappropration, as we have no way of gauging someone's intent.
7. no reposts when using the OC flair: the OC flair is there to mark Original Content. reposts do not count in that case, but are allowed otherwise
8. no generic memes: posts should be reflective of who you are as a person, or otherwise relatable to the human condition. If it's not a selfie of the soul, it might be removed
9. no AI images: generative machine learning is trained on the uncompensated labor of artists without their consent, and it has all the negative environmental impact of the blockchain. no AI images
