The rules, in their words

1. Official Distribution Channels Only: Any download links must use the publisher's official distribution source. This could be the Mac App Store or the publisher's own distribution platform. Third-party sources (e.g. file hosting websites, blogs) are not permitted since they can be used to distribute malicious software.
2. Limited Self-Promotion: Infrequent self-promotion is permitted, however not more than once in a month. You must also disclose your relationship to the software in the comments.
3. Reddit Content Policy: We follow the [Reddit Content Policy](https://www.redditinc.com/policies/content-policy) without exception. Please familiarise yourself before posting or commenting.
4. No Redirect URLs: Redirect URLs are not permitted as they can be used to distribute malicious software. This includes shortened URLs.
5. No Affiliate / Referral / Invite Links: Affiliate, referral and invite links are not permitted since they attract spam and low-quality content.
6. No Piracy: Digital piracy is not permitted in any form. Please note that the Reddit Content Policy also does not permit the posting of illegal content.
