Can you post your project here?

Advertisement posts, including those for products or side projects, are explicitly banned. This subreddit focuses on news, culture, and life related to Korea.

Before you post: Rule 6 explicitly prohibits advertisement posts, which would include sharing a side project or product launch.

The rules, in their words

  1. Posts should be on topic. Check r/koreatravel or r/living_in_korea_now .: For posts on visas, university, traveling, living in Korea, etc., refer to the pinned thread, r/koreatravel or r/living_in_korea_now . Posts should be about news, culture, etc. They may be removed if linked content is not specifically about Korea. This can include translation requests, celebrity news, music videos, tech news, etc, esp. if they have no larger relevance to Korea.
  2. Check before posting a question.: Check the Wiki, FAQ, browse the front page, search posts by flair, or use the search box to see if a relevant post was made. Question posts may be removed if they can be answered on a [Google search](https://www.google.com) within two~ish pages of results. Ask a [mod](/message/compose?to=%2Fr%2Fkorea), the [general discussion thread](/r/korea/search?q=general+discussion+thread&sort=new&restrict_sr=on&t=week), or a [chatroom](/r/korea/wiki/index#wiki_chatrooms) for help.
  3. Don't editorialize news posts.: Titles for news posts should ideally be as close to the title of the report as possible. Summarizing an article in the title is ok, but keep it free of opinion, commentary, or loaded language not contained in the article.
  4. Post in English or Korean.: Although this subreddit is about Korea, its users are primarily English speakers. We welcome Korean language posts, but we encourage including an objective, English summary in the comments.
  5. No flooding of posts.: In order to prevent any one user from flooding the subreddit, excessively(more than two in 12 hours) posting is prohibited. To prevent redundancies, posts may be removed if they don't provide sufficient and additional information.
  6. No advertisement posts.: No posts for jobs, looking for jobs, renting an apartment, items for sale, flight volunteers, surveys, etc.
  7. Reddit Content Policy: [Reddit Content Policy](https://www.redditinc.com/policies/content-policy)
  8. Reddit User Agreement: [Reddit User Agreement](https://www.redditinc.com/policies/user-agreement)
  9. Reddit Self-Promotion Guidelines: [Reddit Self-Promotion Guidelines](https://www.reddit.com/wiki/selfpromotion)
  10. Please follow reddiquette.
  11. No overly inflammatory, sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic or offensive language.
  12. No personal attacks toward other users or witch-hunting.
  13. No Reddit drama, meta or with other subreddits.
  14. Links to Reddit must be 'np'.
  15. No URL shorteners.
