This subreddit is for sharing content about "insane parents," primarily sourced from social media or news. Posts must be in English and not include identifying information, news older than 90 days, or direct links to Reddit content. The content should not be fake, a repost, or a meme.

Before you post: No self-promotion or "I built X" posts are permitted as the subreddit focuses on specific user-submitted content related to insane parents.

The rules, in their words

1. Rule 1: No Identifying Information.: - Do not link directly to social media accounts. NO MATTER WHAT. - Verified accounts do not need to be blocked out. They are public figures.
2. Rule 2 & 2b: Submit Links To Actual News Stories and no news older than 90 days.: The OP must link the source news article in the comments somewhere and their source must not be older than 90 days from today.
3. Rule 3: No direct links to or screenshots of reddit posts or comments.: User submitted a screenshot of or direct link to a reddit thread.
4. Rule 4: Improperly Flaired Post.: Report under this rule if the post does not match the topic of the flair. (ie: a post flaired as other, but the main topic is anti-vax.)
5. Rule 5: Spam Account Posting.: The user is spamming the same submission, website or links across multiple threads or subs.
6. Rule 6: Be Excellent To Each Other.: Please check [the wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/insaneparents/wiki/rules#wiki_rule_6.) for a full description of this rule.
7. Rule 7: Fake Post.: Report under this rule **if** you have solid evidence the post is fake. Please [send this evidence to modail](https://old.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=/r/insaneparents) or this report **will be ignored**.
8. Rule 8: No reposts within the last 2 months or anything on top all-time.: Report under this rule if the post is currently in the top 25 all-time posts, [a common repost](https://imgur.com/a/1RF5ez2), or has been posted here in the last two months. This rule is here to prevent karma whoring and karma farming.
9. Rule 9 / 9b: No Medical or Legal Advice. No Anti-Vax bullshit, Conspiracy Theories, or Conspiracism: No medical or legal advice, ever. This sub will not be party to teens giving other teens shitty medical or legal advice. - Any kind of conspiracy theories, conspiracism, or anti-vax rhetoric here will be met with a zero tolerance policy. We are not obligated to platform misinformation outside of mocking it.
10. Rule 10: No Memes, image macros, or other non-forms of communication.: Someone has posted an image that falls outside acceptable rules. This includes memes, image macros, random images of objects, non-social media photos, and anything not an email, text message, or social media post. All fall for removal under this rule. Other examples include youtube comments, quora posts, any review-esque posts, etc.
11. Rule 11: Submissions MUST Be In English.: OP has submitted something not in English -- translations on the image or in the comments do not count. The language itself MUST be English.
12. Content Guidelines Violation (ie: Banned Source, Not Marked NSFW, etc.).: Report using this designation if a post is from a banned source (Yahoo Answers, Quora, Popsugar.com, a review-esque post) or is graphic and improperly marked NSFW or violates any of the other content guidelines set out in the sidebar or wiki.
