Can you post your project here?

Self-promotion is not allowed in regular posts and must be confined to the weekly Sunday thread. Projects must also meet age and karma requirements, and post titles must include the project's title.

Before you post: Self-promotion is banned except in the weekly Sunday thread. Account must be older than 1 day, have more than -75 comment karma, and over 100 total karma. Post title must include the project's title.

The rules, in their words

1. RESPECT THE SEARCH BAR: Use the search bar. Is a similar post to what you want to make already up and recent? Join them! Check JustWatch.com before asking where to stream something. See our Dreadit Movie Guide for hundreds of films voted on by our users. If that's not what you were looking for, include some movies that you liked so that we may better help you. **I want to be scared/Something actually scary/etc are too vague and will be removed**. Use the guide and/or give us some examples of things you'd like to see.
2. NO SELF PROMO/SPAM: **/R/HORROR** follows the **REDDIT.COM** guidelines for what constitutes [SPAM](http://www.reddit.com/wiki/faq#wiki_what_constitutes_spam.3F). Self Promotion (regardless of commercial intent) is not allowed. Selling items is also not allowed. Repeat offenders will receive a temporary ban. Please keep self promotion posts in the weekly thread that comes out every Sunday. [Here's a meme to give you an example](http://imgur.com/WIPePzE).
3. ABUSE: Hateful comments, including, but not limited to homophobic, transphobic, racist, misogynistic or threatening language will not be tolerated. A minimum week long ban will result from a first offense, with repeat offenders receiving a lifetime ban.
4. LANGUAGE: All links must be English or understandable to English speaking audiences.
5. REAL LIFE HORROR: No real life gore images/videos (murders, accidents, shootings etc) or news articles on real life horror. r/horror is for horror entertainment.
6. PIRATED CONTENT: No **links** in comments or posts to pirated content **or instructions on how/where to pirate**. This includes but is not limited to: Full ***unlicensed*** movies or TV shows on YouTube or other streaming sites, and links to torrent or nzb files.
7. DIRECT IMAGES/MEMES: No direct linking to image files. All links to image files must be made from within the context of a self-post. * [/R/HORROR](http://www.reddit.com/r/horror) is a ***meme free zone***. This includes but is not limited to: [image macros](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_macro), [rage comics](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rage_comic), [advice animals](http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/advice_animal), or any other picture superimposed with text for humorous effect.
8. Age/Karma Minimum: Posts from users that fit any of the following criteria will be automatically removed: 1. The account is less than one day old. 2. The account has a comment karma value of less than -75. 3. The account has a total karma (comment+submission) total of less than 100.
9. Polls: 1. No more than one poll per user open at a time. 2. No simple "Yes/No" polls. 3. Polls should be something of substance. This one is a bit subjective, but do your best and we'll do ours.
10. Movie (or book, game, etc) Titles in Post Titles: If you are making a post about a movie/show/book etc., be it self-post **or** link, include the title of the project. Example: A post with a title like "This movie is so sick!" and it's a link to a clip from *Event Horizon* will removed. Basically, don't clickbait.
11. Spoiler Tags: Please be mindful of spoilers in both post titles and comments. Tag them accordingly using the spoiler tag function outlined in the sidebar. We want to make this a spoiler-free environment for users who don't want to see unintentional reveals.
