Can you post your project here?

Posts sharing personal projects must include detailed information and use appropriate flair. Spamming your personal blog, website, or product is not allowed and may result in a ban.

Before you post: Rule 7 explicitly bans spamming your product, website, or company. Rule 4 requires project details. Rule 6 requires appropriate flair. Vendors must follow additional wiki rules.

The rules, in their words

1. No abusive behavior: No abusive behaviour. This is a forum for friendly discussion; personal attacks will not be tolerated and you will be banned without warning.
2. No referral, affiliate, or crowdfunding links: Referral, affiliate, and crowdfunding links are not allowed. Your post may be removed at the discretion of the mods if it attempts to get around this rule by linking to a blog or social media post that contains those links.
3. No politics: There are plenty of other subs to discuss politics; this is not one of them.
4. Include project details: When posting project details must be included. Posting a video or image without detail will result in a removed post and may result in a ban.
5. No reposts, karma farming, or low-effort posts: Reposts, low-effort content, and karma farming are not welcome on /r/HomeAutomation.
6. Use the appropriate flair for posts: Please use the provided flairs to appropriately label your posts.
7. No Youtube, blog, etc spam: Do not spam your blog, website, YouTube channel, company, product, etc. It will get removed and you will be banned without warning.
8. No hazardous information: Certain projects, including working with electricity can result in injury, property damage, or death if done incorrectly. If you are not sure about what you are doing, please consult a profession. Do not include information that could potentially cause injury or harm to yourself or others.
