This subreddit is for humorous pictures of signs. Ensure your post is a sign, not a repost, contains humor inherent in the image, and isn't staged or faked. Do not include personal information.

Before you post: This subreddit is strictly for sharing funny signs. Posts that are not humorous pictures of signs, common reposts, memes, image macros, or seem staged/faked will be removed.

The rules, in their words

1. Posts must be signs: All posts must strictly be _humorous_ pictures of signs. [Check this page](https://www.reddit.com/r/funnysigns/wiki/not_a_sign) for things that are _not_ signs.
2. No common reposts: New content is encouraged. Reposts of the [top 150 posts of all time](https://old.reddit.com/r/funnysigns/top/?sort=top&t=all) or under three months old are not allowed. Other reposts may be removed at moderator discretion.
3. No memes or image macros: The _humor_ should be obvious from the photo. Memes or [image macros](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_macro) are not necessary to describe it.
4. Don't force it: Don't post anything that is forced, easily staged, vandalized, damaged, faked, etc.
5. Be civil and no personal information: Personal attacks, bigotry, fighting words, inappropriate behavior and comments that insult or demean a specific user or group of users will be removed. Posts or comments containing or seeking any identifying personal information (real or fake) will also be removed. This includes (but is not limited to): names, phone numbers, email addresses, and social media accounts, regardless if it is your own.
