Can you post your project here?

Self-promotion is explicitly banned. The subreddit focuses on original food images with descriptive titles and required tags. Posts are subject to moderator discretion.

Before you post: Self-promotion is explicitly banned by rule 4. Additionally, sharing off-site social media links, watermarks, or bypassing automod rules via gifs/images is prohibited.

The rules, in their words

1. Original Images only (OC Only): If you didn't take the photo, don't post it.
2. Image posts: The majority of your title (over 50%) must specifically describe the food.: The majority of your title (over 50%) must specifically describe the food. Avoid vague descriptions, excessive use of emojis, and include one [square-bracketed] tag. Do not use personal appeals or emotionally compelling details, like hardships, to influence votes. 3. Add a [Tag] into Your Title: Available tags: * [I ate] - Food you purchased and ate, with no-preparation of your own * [Homemade] - Food you, friend, family member etc, made at home * [Pro/Chef] - You work in a food-related industry and made it * [Text] - For anything text based, help / feedback or in-depth recipes. * [Produce] - Food that has been grown, foraged, butchered, or purchased. Eaten as-is or used as an ingredient. * [Podcast] - Food Podcast episode. * [AMA] - Food AMA guest post.
4. No Low-Quality Posts or Comments: We don't allow any: * Self-Promotion * Off-site social media links * Video Posts * Watermarks/Superimposed Text * Dietary Activism * Politics * Chain/Pre-Packaged Food * Low-Resolution/Poorly Composed Images
5. Be Nice: Please be respectful and do not belittle users or their food.
6. No Abusive Circlejerks: As an extension of the "Be Nice" rule, abusive circlejerks will be subject to removal and/or a ban. This can result in an immediate permanent ban depending on the severity. Current abusive circlejerks: * Melt circlejerk (on grilled cheese posts) * Not a burger circlejerk (on Chicken burger posts) * Sweden vs Iced cinnamon buns circlejerk * Italy vs non-traditional pasta/pizza circlejerk Any lists are non-exhaustive.
7. Spam/NSFW Gif or Image Comment: Self Promoting via Gif/Image comments is strictly prohibited, along with any Gif/Image that is NSFW. Gif/Image comments are locked to 1000+ community (r/Food) Karma Users only. Users breaking this rule, or bypassing other automod rules, via Gifs/Images, will be permanently removed from the community.
8. Blog/Website Linking: Domain Whitelist: All domains linked in posts and comments are filtered, except those listed on our domain Whitelist. Users sharing Blog/Website links must actively participate on Reddit outside of their own posts. Alongside any recipe links, a written recipe must be provided within the same comment. Blogs/Website must be original content (OC). No stolen, stock, or AI-generated images.
