Posts that are advertisements, marketing, or market research are prohibited. This subreddit is for general fashion advice, not for promoting personal projects or businesses.

The rules, in their words

1. spam or referral links: FFA prohibits spam, including but not limited to: use of affiliate/referral links or explicit advertisements for blogs, companies, apps, or websites. 2. marketing or market research: FFA prohibits marketing, including but not limited to: seeking opinions on your company's products/services or those of your competitors; recruiting customers for a product, mailing list, app or website; or otherwise using FFA as a focus group. 3. personal attacks or hate speech: FFA prohibits personal attacks, including but not limited to: sexist, racist, classist, or homophobic comments, body-shaming, hate speech, and victim-blaming. This includes any of these types of attacks directed at individuals outside of the subreddit. Please report these comments if you see them, instead of responding.
4. threats or doxxing: FFA prohibits threats including but not limited to: threats of violence, threats of sexual assault, harassment, or blackmail. We also prohibit exposure of personal information including but not limited to: links to another user's real name, personally identifiable information or social media profiles without their permission.
5. lechery: FFA prohibits lechery, including any and all evaluative remarks about other users' bodies, body parts or physical characteristics. **Good or bad**. Much like catcalling in real life, even if your intentions are positive, you have no way of knowing how this type of comment may come across. Please help us preserve a comfortable vibe where no one gets creeped on.
6. unsolicited diet, exercise or weight loss advice: Though our bodies and body image intersect with fashion in a number of ways, FFA is primarily a forum for fashion advice, and participants in this subreddit have not opted in to your opinion or advice on their weight, body composition, diet, or lifestyle. Comments offering advice on these topics in response to a fashion-related question will be removed. The weekly Hair, Makeup, Skincare, Fitness and Fragrance thread is generally exempt from this rule, assuming comments are on-topic.
7. posts that belong in a daily/weekly thread: Certain types of questions or content are better suited to one of our daily or weekly threads, and top level posts will be removed accordingly. 8. meta posts: Top level posts that are primarily *about* the subreddit itself will be removed unless cleared in advance by the moderators. Meta discussion is welcome at any time in the comments of [General Discussion](https://www.reddit.com/r/femalefashionadvice/search?q=general+discussion&restrict_sr=on&sort=new&t=all), or you can share feedback or ideas for FFA privately via [modmail](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=%2Fr%2Ffemalefashionadvice) if you'd prefer. 9. disingenuous and/or bad faith: User is posting with disingenuous intentions and/or bad faith while frequenting the subreddit. Posting history may expose details further elaborating upon this.
