Self-promotion is not explicitly banned but requires moderator approval beforehand. It is not encouraged and has specific restrictions.

Before you post: You must ask the moderators for permission before promoting anything. Figures can only be posted on 'Merch Mondays'.

2. Prohibited Topics: NSFW content. Piracy. [Memes and shitposts.](/r/ningen) Low-effort posts. Politics. "DBZTubers". Quizzes/polls/petitions. Buying/selling. [Versus debates.](http://www.reddit.com/r/dragonball/) Generic gameplay footage. T-shirt posts.
3. Submission Guidelines: Submitted content should be directly related to Dragon Ball, and not require a title to make it relevant. Figures can be submitted on [Merch Mondays.](https://redd.it/ault8u) On other days, use r/DBZCU. Fanart & Cosplay posts should credit the artist in the title or be marked OC. Direct upload only. (Video must be animation or AMV.) Link to the source in the comments. For OC, include all references used in gallery or comments. No WIPs or AI. You may submit Fanart once a week (7 days).
4. Warnings: If you post a video with a strobe effect you must include a seizure warning in the title of your post. Spoilers for the current chapter of the *Dragon Ball Super* manga must be tagged at all times outside of the dedicated threads. When creating a topic to discuss those spoilers, put a warning in the title, and keep the title itself spoiler free. *Dragon Ball Super* spoilers are otherwise allowed. To hide a spoiler, `>!format your comment like this!<` >!and it'll appear like this.!<
