Self-promotion is generally banned as spam. To share your own content, you must be an active, participating member of the community before submitting links to your own site.

The rules, in their words

1. No Self Promotion: The community has spoken: If you only submit links to your own content, your links will be removed as spam. We suggest being an active participating member of Reddit and /r/cycling before submitting links to your own site. Affiliate links are self promotion.
2. No Picture Posts of your Stuff: /r/cycling can be thought of as a discussion-driven forum. Pictures of your stuff will be actively removed, unless there is some kind of necessary discussion involved. /r/bicycling is an image-driven forum. They are our friends and I like to think we complement eachother.
3. No Memes: These will be actively removed, but consider posting in /r/fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu, /r/AdviceAnimals, or /r/memes.
4. No Surveys: No surveys unless you're an active community member of /r/cycling. Surveys from new accounts will be removed. /r/cycling is not a vein of ore for you to mine.
5. Don't be a jerk. Be kind to each other.: We're all humans. All trying to make sense of this messed up world. Don't attack people. If you can't say it nicely then perhaps don't say it at all. It isn't your job to "fix" random people on the internet. Consider using "I" statements instead of "you" statements. If someone insults you then move on or report them. Do not respond in kind. Victim blaming is jerk behavior.
6. No Racism/Hate Speech: There will be zero tolerance for racism, homophobia/transphobia, or sexism/misogyny, engaging in any sort of hate speech will result in the post or comment being removed and the poster being banned. We do not allow hate speech.
7. No bots of any sort. No computer-generated responses. No AI content.
