Can you post your project here?

Self-promotion and advertising are prohibited in this subreddit, including promoting services, pay sites, or asking for likes/upvotes. Posts should focus on the cosplay itself, be correctly titled, and not be of NSFW nature.

Before you post: Rule 3 explicitly prohibits advertising of any kind, including promoting pay sites, and Rule 6 prohibits claiming another's work as your own. The subreddit is for posting cosplay work, not for selling or promoting external services.

The rules, in their words

1. Treat everybody with respect, no low quality posts or comments.: Post should focus on the cosplay itself and not the cosplayer. a. Low effort posts like only emojis are not permitted. b. Do not be rude. Personal attacks, name-calling, degrading, and shaming of any form are not permitted. c. Do not be invasive. Your opinion on someone's body, presentation, or gender does or doesn't suit your specific desires is not permitted. This includes blatant sexism, objectification, marriage proposals, even if intended as a joke or references to the source material.
2. Posts must be correctly titled.: All posts must be correctly titled. Titles use include character name and be free of emojis, ascii art, and social media information like tags and accounts.
3. Spamming or advertising of any kind is prohibited.: a. This is not a marketplace. Don't promote stuff for sale, contests, upvotes, likes, or pay sites patreon or kickstarters here. See https://www.reddit.com/wiki/selfpromotion. b. Keep all posts to no more than one per 24 hours. c. Do not repost a cosplay, unless upgrades have been made, and they must be listed in the title.
4. Memes, AI generated images, image macros and bots are prohibited.: Moderating bots may be explicitly permitted by the moderation team.
5. NSFW content (including for profit NSFW accounts) is prohibited.: This includes pornographic accounts and content that is lewd and suggestive accounts or content that is generally inappropriate for minors. 6. Fraudulent Posts or posts seeking to ID a cosplayer are prohibited.: Posts that claims another’s work as their own is considered fraudulent and are not permitted. Examples are posts that claim to be the photographer, or the creator of the cosplay when they are not. Posts asking the identity, or social media of a cosplayer are prohibited.
7. Help posts are not permitted: Help posts should be sent to /r/cosplayhelp, or topic specific communities like /r/sewing.
