  2. No memes, direct images or contextless image/video posts.: We do not allow posts that directly link to an image or a video. If you would like to submit a video or an image to the subreddit, please do so in a self-post.
  3. No NSFW content.
  4. Posts must foster reasonable discussion.: Posts that are unlikely to promote high-quality discussion are not allowed.
  5. No editorialized link titles.: When submitting, please keep the source's original title, even if it is misleading and/or clickbait.
  6. No low-effort, rude/offensive, or hateful comments.: Please refrain from making rude/offensive comments on the subreddit. We want /r/Apple to be a safe and tolerant place for fans to discuss everything Apple.
  7. No posts that aren’t directly related to Apple.: All posts must be directly related to Apple. We will remove posts that are only vaguely related to Apple.
  8. No tech-support questions.: As per our Content Philosophy, this subreddit allows content that benefits the community over individual questions. As such, tech support threads and "What Should I Buy?" threads will be removed. Users will be sent to the "Daily Advice Thread" that's posted every day by Automoderator at 6AM EST.
  9. Self-promotion is allowed on Sundays, only for developers.: No spam, self-promotion of your own blogs/websites/videos, or surveys are allowed. If you are a developer wanting to promote your app on the subreddit, you may do so on Sundays and self-post only. Activity requirements are enforced with, developers should participate organically on the subreddit.   10. No content related to piracy or illegal activities.
  11. No posts relating to buying, selling advice.: As stated in the explanation for the "Tech Support" rule, this subreddit allows content that benefits the community over individual questions. As such "What Should I Buy?" posts threads will be removed and users will be sent to the "Daily Advice Thread" that's posted every day by Automoderator at 6AM EST.
  12. No posts about bugs in beta software.: There are dedicated subreddits to share news, bugs and everything else in between in regards to iOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS Betas. /r/Apple only allows news of beta releases, and major bugs (example: if a beta is bricking devices).
  13. No vaccine misinformation: Comments that are spreading COVID vaccine misinformation/claims are not allowed. Anyone found spreading misinformation may be found unwelcome on r/Apple
