To post an 'I built X' project, it must be a story intended to be horrifying and original. You need at least 10 post karma, and you cannot link to external sites in the story itself. Edits and feedback should be in the comments.

Before you post: Self-promotion or "I built X" posts are not indicated as being allowed. The rules focus exclusively on storytelling and prohibit external links in the main post.

The rules, in their words

1. 2. Rule 2: Be two sentences (or less): * All posts must be two sentences or less. * One sentence stories are allowed. * Sentences are not defined by punctuation. If the story reads as more than two sentences, it will be removed. * If the title is a sentence and the story does not make sense without it, then it counts as a sentence. * Series are not permitted. * No trigger warnings shall be made. 3. Rule 3: Be intended to be horrifying: All posts should contain some aspect of horror. * Stories that are more sad than horror will be removed and should be posted to r/TwoSentenceSadness. These include, but are not limited to, stories about depression, suicide, loss of a loved one, putting down pets, pets obeying commands to stay in dangerous situations, etc. * Inconveniences and annoyances are NOT horror.
4. 5. Rule 5: Be original: Only post stories that you have written yourself. * Posts that are direct copies of stories found on this subreddit or elsewhere will be removed. This also applies to posts that only make cosmetic changes to the story. * Famous quotes may be allowed if properly attributed and provided your post is adequately transformative. * Re-posting your own stories may be allowed if the previous version is archived and you add "**\[Repost\]**" to the title. * Plagiarism will result in a ban!
6. Rule 6: Not contain political content: This is not a political subreddit. * Posts should not contain any political agenda, and should not target any specific politician, regardless of supporting or opposing views.

8. Rule 8: No trolling, no spamming: * Be respectful to one another. * Do not spam the same comment on multiple posts. * Excessive vulgarity is unacceptable.
9. Rule 9: Modmail: Removal appeals and discussions regarding posts or comments must be made through modmail. Contacting moderators via direct messaging or chat is prohibited and may result in a ban.

11. Rule 11: Post Frequency: No user may submit more than three stories in a 24-hour period.
12. Rule 12: Current Events: Stories will be removed if the central plot relies entirely upon or exploits current events, especially those with significant social influences that are heavily covered by mainstream media. 13. Plagiarism: We have a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism. If you violate this rule, you will be permanently banned immediately.
