Self-promotion is generally frowned upon. While not explicitly banned, posts requesting followers, retweets, or likes are forbidden except in the monthly mega open thread. Follow specific guidelines for bug reports if applicable.

The rules, in their words

1. Please Read the FAQ: The r/Twitter FAQ covers questions and topics that frequently come up on this subreddit. 2. No individual posts about un/suspended, restricted, locked, or shadowbanned accounts: Individual posts about un/suspended, locked or restricted accounts are not permitted. All discussion & comments related to this subject is permitted only in the monthly post with the "Mega Open Thread" title, found at the very Top of "Hot." 3. Posts must be related to Twitter: This is a *Twitter* subreddit. All posts must be related to Twitter (news, updates, bugs, questions regarding to twitter, et cetera) Please do not post links to tweets or screenshots of tweets just because you saw them on Twitter. If they are not about or related to Twitter the platform, company or business, they will be removed at discretion of the moderators.
4. Breaking Twitter Rules: Don't ask for help with or offer help in circumvention of Twitter's Terms of Service (including Twitter rules and policies). Informational linking to Twitter policies is always okay: https://twitter.com/en/tos https://help.twitter.com/en/rules-and-policies
5. No Spam Allowed. Requests for Followers, Retweets, Likes, etc. not allowed.: Spam is not permitted in this subreddit. Post requests for Followers, Retweets, Likes, etc. are not permitted in this subreddit, except in the comments of the Monthly Mega Open Thread, located at the very top of "Hot." 6. No Reposts of Recent Stories & News: Twitter-related News stories & articles that have been already been posted recently will be removed at the discretion of the moderators.
7. Low effort and/or missing context: Incredibly low effort posts and/or those missing context will be removed at the discretion of the moderators. This may also include support posts. Additionally, if your post is about an issue with Twitter, you must follow the /r/Twitter bug report guidelines: https://www.reddit.com/r/Twitter/wiki/bugreportguidelines
8. No vague or unclear subject titles of posts: All posts must contain clear subject titles that explain what the content of the post is specifically about. An example of a subject title that is not helpful and will be removed is "Help!"
