Posts involving sales, promotions, advertising, or any type of merchandise for sale, including commissions and digital investments, are explicitly banned. This also extends to promoting other social media, services, apps, websites, or online shops.

Before you post: Rule 5 clearly states that sales, promotions, advertising, and sharing/promoting of services, websites, or social media are not allowed.

The rules, in their words

1. No meme templates or re-writing quotes: No meme templates talking about things not relating to the Simpsons. No rewriting quotes to talk about things not relating to the Simpsons. Referencing the real-world is fine (e.g. Simpsons Did It) but no full on re-purposing of quotes to talk about unrelated topics. Try /r/SimpsonsShitposting instead
2. Reddiquette & Civility: We do not allow the following: * Trolling/Teasing/Distasteful/Vulgar/Sexist/Racist/Hateful/Homophobic/Xenophobic or Uncivil content * Comment threads that dissolve into arguments or petty bickering will be locked & offenders may be banned. * Creepy behavior, stalkers, unsolicited messaging. Please report any concerning behavior to the mods. Let's just laugh at the Simpsons.
3. Nothing NSFW: Do not post things that are NSFW. Including but not limited to: * NSFW Cosplay * NSFW fan art * Rule 34 content of any kind * Any content not suitable for all ages viewing (Pornographic / Semi-Nude / Overly Sexualized)
4. /r/SimpsonsShitposting material: Though some "shitposts" are allowed things that go too far (e.g. rule 1) will be told to post to /r/SimpsonsShitposting instead.
5. Sales | Promotions | Advertising: Including but not limited to: * Shirts|Pins|Buttons|Stickers|Posters|Rugs|Shoes|Simpsonizing Drawings|Commissions| or any "For Sale" Merch, Etc. * Crypto||NFTs|Digital Investments * Sharing or Promoting: Reddit Accounts|Subs|Services|Apps|Websites|Signups|Quizes|Online Shops|etc * Sharing or Promoting: Social Media|Telegram|Discord|Youtube etc * Contests | Surveys | Research & Marketing content Breaking this rule will result in limited participation
6. Reposts / Low effort / AI Content: * Reposts that are over 2 months old is allowed as long as you're not the original poster. * No blatant reposting of content * No karma whoring, low effort, sensationalistic content. (eg. off topic content, chain posts, etc) * No AI content * Keep on topic: The Simpsons
7. No karma bots allowed!: Please report karma bots!
8. Politics / Social / Meta Issues: This is a politically, socially & religiously neutral subreddit. We do not allow: * Content meant to endorse, promote, vilify or harass political candidates/parties. * Social Issues / Agenda pushing * Using or Re-Writing Simpsons Quotes/Scenes/Memes to mirror or represent current political/social events or figures. * Negativity about the fan-base / writing staff / show staff / voice actors / community or mods * Complaints about casting/re-casting decisions * General Soap Boxing or Rants
