The rules, in their words

1. No Repost/Spam Bot Accounts: It is not an issue of harmless karma farming. Spam bots are harmful not just because they dilute subreddits with spam and don't engage, but because they are often set up to farm karma and appear real and bybass subreddit restrictions, then they switch to advertising, pushing political propaganda, scaming, trolling, etc. Along the way, they often post mis/disinformation, steal content, fail to credit others works, or sometimes even steal credit for something they didn't actually make.
2. u/KimCureAll is NOT a bot: Stop reporting them as a bot unless you have evidence they are one.
3. Soft rule: Try not to encourage bad behavior towards wild-life/don't clickbait decompression: This is more of a guideline than an actual rule, but clickbaity posts with titles that encourage/promote harming sea-life are discouraged. For example, the post that caused this rule to be added was a of fish that underwent rapid decompression and titled "Russian Fisherman Discovers Peculiar Looking Deep Sea Fish With Bulging Eyeballs." and then promoted the person who caught it. You can post content like that, just make the title in good taste, don't clickbait things like rapid decompression.
4. It’s the Gulf of Mexico.: Don’t be cringey
