There are no specific rules for sharing personal projects or 'I built X' posts. The subreddit focuses on content that induces fear and makes palms sweat. Sharing personal projects would likely be allowed if they fit this theme and adhere to all other content rules.

Before you post: Personal projects are not mentioned in the rules, so their allowance depends on fitting the subreddit's core theme of fear-inducing content. Ensure the project's output or the act of building it genuinely causes sweaty palms.

The rules, in their words

1. Must be sweaty palm inducing: Your post must induce fear, not just a sense of creepiness.
2. Must be scary: If nothing in the post specifically induces fear or sweaty palms, it's getting removed.
3. No porn
4. No jerks, no hate, no agenda pushing: Don't be a dick. No racism, no slurs, no misogyny or misandry, no discrimination on the basis of religion or national origin, no agenda pushing.
5. No fakes or forced perspectives: No fake/staged/forced perspective/edited/embellished images or videos.
6. No reposts: Crossposting is allowed. Recent or popular reposts are not.
7. Titles must be descriptive, but fear must be conveyed by the image, not solely by the title: No low-effort titles. But don't convey fear only by the title; the image, itself, must be sweaty palm-inducing.
8. No NSFL/fight/gore posts
