Before you post: Rule 9 explicitly prohibits solicitations, which would include sharing personal projects or products. Rule 13 suggests using specific threads for off-topic discussions, implying a focus on content directly related to the Philippines.

The rules, in their words

1. Follow Reddiquette: [Reddiquette](https://www.redditinc.com/policies/content-policy) is an informal expression of the values of many Redditors, as written by Redditors themselves. Please abide by it the best you can.
2. Posts should be relevant to the Philippines: Posts should be about the Philippines or are relevant to the country. Posts not related to the Philippines will be removed.
3. No flaming or name-calling: Posts and comments should not contain personal attacks on other users. Ad hominem and other distracting attacks do not add anything to the conversation.
4. No editorialized titles: Do not editorialize titles. Keep your submission title same as the one used in the source article. For screenshot posts, please make sure to provide the link of the article in the post body.
5. No links to Facebook: We do not allow any links to Facebook; post screenshots instead. To protect the privacy of those involved as well your own, we require certain information of non-public individuals in the screenshot be completely redacted.
6. Censor personal information: Do not post someone's personal information, or post links to personal information. This includes but is not limited to: photos of cars with visible license numbers, photos of private individuals with faces not blurred, and screenshots of social media pages with the names still legible. Public figures can be an exception to this rule, such as posting professional links to contact a congressman or the CEO of a company.
7. Tag NSFW content: Please tag not safe for work (NSFW) content such as nudity or gore, as there will be people browsing the site in school, work, and other public spaces.
8. No pornography: Posting pornographic content is inappropriate in this subreddit—and it will get you banned.
9. No classified ads and solicitations: This subreddit is not a marketplace nor a place for posting job offerings. Asking for monetary assistance or donations is also prohibited. Please post in an appropriate [subreddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/Philippines/s/1rdCniBOBw).
10. No spoilers: Posting spoilers is not allowed. A scene from a book, movie, or video game may be counted as spoiler (or not) depending on how known the story is to the public. General rule: Movies - 6 months Shows - 2 months
11. Provide sources for any claims: If you are posting a claim, it must come with a source. For image posts, either the source must be in the image, or you may post the source as a comment.
12. No reposts: Search for duplicates before posting. Reposts will be removed.
13. Use the Random Discussion or Weekly Help Thread: Please use the latest [Random Discussion Thread](http://www.jcgurango.com/phrd/redirect) for random topics not relevant to the Philippines, or the [Weekly Help Thread](https://rph-hub.jcgurango.com/help) for help-related topics as much as possible to avoid clutter in the sub.
