Self-promotion, including sharing side projects or products, is not mentioned in the subreddit's rules. The rules focus on the content of posts being specifically about 'nicegirls' and prohibit identifying information, sexism, low-effort titles, NSFW content, reposts, and content from FDS.

Before you post: No self-promotion or 'I built X' posts are mentioned or implicitly allowed; the subreddit is strictly for content fitting the 'nicegirls' definition.

The rules, in their words

1. Rule 1: Post nicegirls only: Post NiceGirls only. If you're unsure if your post shows a nicegirl, look at the definition above. Things that aren't a nicegirl: - a crazygirl - hyptoethetical nicegirl. This includes memes - a niceguy - not enough context to prove "nice" - 'men are trash' posts/comments
2. Rule 2: NO IDENTIFYING INFO OF ANY KIND.: This includes personal info, username, full names (ie Jane Smith), profile pic, twitter handle, instagram name and any other username. No public pages or usernames. No watermarks. Censor your own name. There are no exceptions at all. Any infraction of this rule will result in a ban. If we can read the name AT ALL, you will be banned.
3. Rule 3: No sexism, racism, or intolerance at all: No sexism, racism or intolerance of any kind is allowed. You will be permabanned. This is an LGBTQIA affirming subreddit
4. Rule 4: No low-effort titles: No low-effort titles. Your title must be descriptive. Anything referencing where you found the post or one word titles will be removed.
5. Rule 5: No NSFW/NSFL: No NSFW or NSFL content allowed, at all.
6. Rule 6: No reposts: No reposts.
7. Rule 7: No FDS content: Content taken from FDS is not for r/nicegirls due to the following reasons: • Content from FDS is extremely low hanging fruit. They hate us, we hate them, we get it. • Most FDS content is misandrist in nature. • Your FDS automod ban message isn't new, special or unique. • Blatantly stating that the content is from FDS will incite brigading of that subreddit, this is against Reddit TOS and we will not tolerate it. Any content posted from FDS will result in an immediate permaban.
