Promotional posts are not allowed. The subreddit is intended for mutual support among mothers, not for advertising or market research.

Before you post: Rule 1 explicitly bans promotional posts.

The rules, in their words

1. No blogs, surveys or promotional posts: Blogs and surveys are not welcomed at this time. Promotional posts, market research and solicitations are also not allowed.
2. Moms only: Mommit is a subreddit for mothers, not about mothers. There are plenty of parenting subreddits open to anyone, and very few open to just mothers. Please respect an area meant for sharing only these experiences. If you are not a mother (or expectant mother), please try /r/parenting, /r/daddit, /r/askparents, /r/babybumps, r/FenceSitter, r/ttc as the case may be.
3. Be kind: We are here for support - to lift each other up. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Be nasty, catch a ban. F around and find out.
4. No panhandling: r/mommit is for emotional and moral support, not financial support. There are other subs for that. Please do not ask for money, gift cards, donations, etc. and do not post wishlists, gofundme links, referral links, etc.
5. Mod discretion
6. Pro-choice: Anti-choice rhetoric will immediately result in a ban.
7. No bigotry or hate.: Hate will be immediately banned
8. Snarking will result in a ban: Snarking on posts from this community won’t be tolerated.
