Self-promotion in posts such as advertising apps or YouTube videos is prohibited. Links to external products or services should not be posted to solicit sales. This rule applies to comments and direct messages as well.

Before you post: Self-promotion, sales, and recruitment links are prohibited in all posts, comments, and direct messages.

The rules, in their words

1. Be Cool, Calm and Civil: - Follow Reddiquette and the Reddit Content Policy. - Treat everyone with respect. - Build a positive and helpful community. - Provide constructive criticism instead of complaining. - Do not advocate for harassment, harm, or hate. - Do not discriminate against anyone. - Report rule violations as you see them. Do not respond in the comments.
2. Content must be relevant to Mindfulness: All content should directly pertain to Mindfulness; do not post low-effort content, spam, memes, posts without context, etc.
3. No NSFW or Unsafe Content: This includes, but is not limited to: NSFW, violence, gore, risqué or otherwise sexually explicit messages, images, videos, or anything that is illegal. Please refer to the [Reddiquette](https://www.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/205926439) for further information.
4. Self-Promotion, Sales and Recruitment: The posting of links in comments or DMs to users that advertise or otherwise solicit sales of books, podcasts, YouTube videos, apps, etc. is prohibited. This list is not exhaustive.
5. ChatGPT and AI Content: ChatGPT and AI generated content may be removed based on moderator discretion.
6. Repetitive Posting: Similar or repetitive posts may be removed if it is posted within a close timeframe. Users are encouraged to search the subreddit prior to posting.
7. Surveys: Please contact the moderation team through Modmail about your surveys, etc. prior to posting. Posts without permission will be removed.
8. Misleading Content: Any content from disreputable or disputed sources, or any content that is poorly regarded by the academic community, such as: "vaccines cause autism", will be removed.
9. Feedback, Suggestions, and Complaints: Please contact the moderation team through Modmail.
10. Copyright and Takedown Policy: - Do not falsely claim that content is yours. - Do not post images, videos, or content without the consent of all involved. - Have full permission to post as the owner or from the copyright holder. - Takedown requests are honored by anyone in the content, regardless of ownership. - To request a takedown, contact the moderators using ModMail.
