Can you post your project here?

Self-promotion of any kind, including crowdfunding, blogs, social media, apps, or advertisements, is strictly banned. Any attempt to solicit or advertise will result in a ban. Always ask moderators if unsure.

Before you post: Rule 1 explicitly bans all forms of self-promotion, including links to crowdfunding sites, business opportunities, social media, apps, or advertisements. Violations can lead to a ban, and users are advised to modmail if in doubt.

The rules, in their words

1. No Self-Promotion (including crowdfunding, blogs, business/tv opportunities or advertisements): Do not solicit or post links to crowdfunding sites, business/tv opportunities, social media (including YouTube), apps, commission work, or advertisements. We are all in the same boat. Crowdfunding links or advertisements (no matter how cleverly hidden you think your ad is) will result in a ban. When in doubt, modmail. If you are part of a study or research project interested in polling /r/LongDistance, please modmail.
2. No Harassing, Trolling, Flaming or Spamming: Personal attacks, bashing, harassing, trolling, flaming or spamming is not allowed. This will result in a removal and ban. If you disagree with a post or comment, make sure to explain why you disagree instead of just saying "You're wrong, this is stupid."
3. Age and genders must be in the title of your post when asking for advice: When asking for advice or asking questions on your own relationship, you must include both ages and genders in the title of your post. (Ex: [22F/22M]). Posts breaking this rule will be removed. This is to help the rest of the sub give age-appropriate advice. Ages/genders are not required for other types of posts (venting, image posts, meeting, etc.) Please use the appropriate flair to clarify the purpose of your post and what kind of input you're looking for (if any).
4. No posts directly talking or contacting your SO: Do not use the subreddit to directly talk to or contact your SO. This includes "shoutouts" and trying to reach your SO post-breakup. See: https://redd.it/3jlmm8
5. Caution regarding large age differences: If an age difference between a couple is far too large, and harm/abuse/grooming could be happening, please report the post immediately.
6. Do not solicit a long distance relationship: This is not the place to find or solicit a long distance relationship. Period.
7. No Photo/Signature/Soundbite Request Posts: Requesting photos, signatures, soundbites or other communication from members on this subreddit does not contribute in a positive way. Posts of this nature are grounds for an immediate and permanent ban.
8. No Misinformation: Spreading COVID-19 and other conspiracy/anti-science misinformation will result in an immediate ban. Spreading other serious misinformation may also result in a ban as determined by the moderation team.
