Self-promotion is generally banned, especially if it's spamming external links. However, portfolio reviews are allowed once a month if they include your own analysis and a screenshot from a broker.

Before you post: External links for self-promotion are banned unless they are part of a portfolio review. Portfolio reviews are limited to one per month and must include your own analysis and a broker screenshot.

The rules, in their words

1. Stock Market: Post must be related to Stock Markets
2. Be Civilized: Be nice and civilized to other members, unnecessary hate words can lead to a ban at mod's discretion
3. No Spamming: Spamming external links like with sole purpose of self promotion is easiest way to get banned. To minimize spam automoderator will remove posts/comments from accounts which are less than 2 days old and have less than 5 karma.
4. Do not crosspost excessively, post max 1-2 crossposts in a day: This is the only major investing sub that allows you to crosspost, so please don't misuse it otherwise we will also turn the feature off!!
5. Do not ask or give Tips/Calls for stocks: No recommendations to buy or sell, and no price targets. We expect people to do their due diligence, and not encourage speculative behavior.
6. Rules for Portfolio Reviews: 1. Must include your own analysis/thought/reasons for investing or planning to invest in the particular stocks. 2. Must be a screenshot of the portfolio from actual broker and not of any kind of watchlist. 3. Not more than 1 post per month.
7. Low Effort: Please put some effort into your posts. Posts showing no effort such as just asking for opinions without sharing your own will be removed. If you are asking for views on some particular company be sure to give your own views and due diligence first, otherwise the posts will be removed
