Can you post your project here?

This subreddit is for stories about being mistaken for an employee. Self-promotion or advertising is not allowed, as explicitly stated in rule 13. There are no specific requirements or allowances for sharing personal projects.

Before you post: Rule 13 explicitly prohibits advertising. Posts for side projects or products would fall under this category and be removed.

The rules, in their words

1. Meta Tag: Post that aren't stories, but are related discussions should be tagged with the [Meta] tag.
2. No Memes: No memes, reaction gifs, image links, copypasta, chanspeak, etc.
3. Keep it Classy: No circlejerk, justice, revenge, gore or porn.
4. People are People, too: No racism, sexism, bigotry or stereotyping. No derogatory representations of people. Don't be a jerk, i.e. singling out users, using personal attacks or derogatory language, picking fights, trolling, etc.
5. Bad Title: Titles need to be about the story, not questions or requests for similar stories.
6. Plagarism: If your post was plagiarized, or taken from somewhere else word by word, and ISN'T your story, the post will be removed.
7. Begging: Remember, we always want to see more stories! Saying "Would you guys want to hear more?!" is kind of annoying.
8. Potty Mouth: Swearing should be limited as it results in spamfiltering.
9. Politics and Religion: Avoid politics and religion, please.
10. Truth Police: Please do not reply with "/r/ThatHappened", etc. You do not have to trust the validity of the story, but if you doubt a story, just downvote and move on.
11. Incorrect meta flair: For posts that have a meta flair but aren't meta.
12. Fake: For posts that can be proven as fake. Must have actual evidence. "This sounds so fake" doesn't count.
