Can you post your project here?

Posts must be about having a unique experience or an uncommon role in life, and you must provide proof of your identity and claims. Standard 'I built X' posts are not suitable unless the 'X' itself is an uncommon experience or directly tied to a unique aspect of your life.

Before you post: This subreddit is for 'Ask Me Anything' style posts about unique life experiences or uncommon events. General self-promotion or 'I built X' product launches do not fit the topic guidelines.

The rules, in their words

1. All posts must contain proof: We require proof for all posts in order to prevent impersonation and fictional AMAs. Your proof must tend to show evidence of your claims (i.e. your AMA topic) as well as your identity (i.e. your Reddit username in relation to your AMA topic).
2. Topics must follow IAmA guidelines: AMAs must be about: Something uncommon that plays a central role in your life, or a truly interesting and unique event. Do not post about topics that are very common, or unprovable. Do not repost about the same topic within a 3-month period.
3. Requests belong in /r/IAmARequests: In the past, we allowed Request posts in /r/IAmA. This is no longer the case. Requests should be posted to /r/IAmARequests.
4. Top-level comments must ask a question: Top-level comments must ask a question. Do not attempt to bypass the rules by adding a ? to a non-question. This will result in a permanent ban.
5. Do not ask for personal favors from an OP: Do not ask for personal favors from an OP.
6. No abusive or harassing comments: Abusive or harassing comments will be removed. Egregious or repeated harassment or abuse will result in a permanent ban.
