Self-promotion is generally banned unless you message the mod team for approval. Posts about water bottles are restricted to Wednesdays, though questions about them are allowed any day.

Before you post: Self-promotion and unapproved fundraisers are banned. Direct promotion requires mod approval. Water bottle posts must be on Wednesdays.

The rules, in their words

1. Don't be toxic: Don't be toxic, attack ideas instead of people, and don't let perfection be the enemy of improvement.
2. Don't get political: Avoid discussing politics.
3. No reposts: No reposts within 6 months.
4. No discussing the previous subreddit.: Discussions about the previous sub are prohibited as they could get us banned.
5. No self-promotion/unapproved fundraisers: No promotion of fundraisers or external communities. Message the mod team and we'll review the request.
6. No misinformation or unsafe drinking encouragement: No encouraging unhealthy drinking practices or consuming water from unsafe sources.
7. No reposting of internet advertising: Do not repost advertisements found online.
8. Water Bottle Wednesdays : Posts about your water bottle/container should be on Wednesdays only. Questions/issues about water bottles can be posted at any time.
