Before you post: While not explicitly banned, a 'I built X' post would likely need to be flaired appropriately using rule 6 ('Flair your posts') and should adhere to rule 4 ('No content stealing') by providing the source. There are no specific rules for self-promotion, so it is treated cautiously.

The rules, in their words

1. Be nice.: Be supportive. No targeted harassment, hate speech, no politics, etc.
2. No personal, sensitive information / doxxing: This applies to talents and Redditors alike. Don't even hint at it.
3. About memes: No memes that violate Reddit's policy, or memes that may cause trouble for companies/individuals. Offer something new to the table.
4. No content stealing: Link directly from the creator's own source, especially if they wish for it. Twitter, pixiv, etc. Moreover, provide the source in a top-level comment (even if it's you).
5. No reposts
6. Flair your posts: Make sure everything is in its right place.
7. No asking favors from the staff: You know we can't tell you anything :)
8. No advertising VTubers outside of hololive production: Discussion is always free though!
9. Stay family friendly: Try not to curse excessively.
10. Enjoy yourself!: We will let you know when rules are modified.
