This subreddit is for humor and confusing or unexpected content. Self-promotion or 'I built X' posts are not explicitly mentioned and are likely not the focus of this humor-oriented community.

Before you post: Self-promotion posts are not aligned with the subreddit's focus on humor and confusing/unexpected content. They would likely be removed under moderator discretion or because they don't fit the subreddit's theme.

The rules, in their words

1. Be civil and don't be a jerk.: We're a humor sub. Please be civil to one another and spread laughs, not insults.
2. No Content Policy violations: Violating Reddit's Content Policy or User Agreement will result in a ban.
3. Your post must fit the subreddit.: Posts should have a confusing element or an unexpected twist and must make you go "hold up wait a minute."
4. No Politics or Social Issues: Submissions that are primarily political or related to social issues are not allowed on r/HolUp. This includes discussions, news, articles, memes, and any other content that is focused on political or social issues.
5. No NSFW/Minor Content: No NSFW content including but not limited to, nudity, porn, OnlyFans, and sexual or suggestive content relating to minors. Any submissions containing such content will be removed and may result in disciplinary action.
6. No Blatant Reposts.: If your post was recently submitted to r/HolUp by you or another user within the last 3 months it will be removed.
7. Moderator Discretion: The moderators reserve the right to remove any post or comment at our discretion even if it does not break the above rules.
