Can you post your project here?

This subreddit is strictly for memes and prohibits any form of self-promotion, advertising, or sharing personal projects. Posts must adhere to meme formats and avoid personal content, reposts, or spam. Sharing a side project or product would likely be removed as it falls under prohibited 'self-advertisement' and 'advertising'.

Before you post: Rule 8 explicitly bans 'Self Advertisement' and 'ADVERTISING'. Rule 9 also prohibits watermarks from other sites, and Rule 7 prohibits watermarks or shilling. Rule 2 prohibits posting 'memes' of you or your friends IRL, or any person you may know.

The rules, in their words

1. All posts must be a meme!: • All posts must maintain the meme setup/guideline. • No reaction memes. • No titles as meme captions! • No unedited webcomics or photos of comics. • Don't post anything that would start a general discussion in the comments. • No memes that are text only. • Pictures and videos that do not contain captions in a post may be removed by a moderators discretion! • Someone saying something funny on tumblr/reddit/etc is not a meme. **• Posts will be removed if they don't maintain the rules.**
2. No memes about general experiences/IRL: • Please make posts general rather than specific personal experiences. This helps make posts more relatable. • No selfies, SMS screenshots, personal stories, chats, emails, etc. • **Do not post "memes" of you or your friends IRL , or any person you may know.** • No creepshots or perverted.
3. Preferly post your own/original content!: • We would prefer you to post your own content, and meme creations. (This will help us from having frequent reposts. • Check before you post, make sure it hasn't been posted here with 6 months and doesn't have over 5k Upvotes. • **Any double up posts (reposts) that has been posted within 6 months of the original will get you a Temporary Ban and the post will be removed.**
4. No Reposting, ChainPosting, or URL Posting: • No Chainposting. • No 'split' or 'linked' posts - either between yourself or other users. • No reposting posts that aren't within 6 months old, and have more than 5k upvotes. • Spaming posts, reposts will get you a permmant ban! • **Reposts that are posted within 6 months of the original will get removed and get you a temporary or permant ban.**
5. Stay civil, and don't be disrespectful!: • Please do not troll, harass, or be generally rude to your fellow users! **Stay Civil!** • Keep comments civil and be respectful of your fellow users. • Choosing the actions to be to rude to your peers in the comments will get you a Ban of some sort. • Don't post racist or bigoted memes. Those belong elsewhere else. • Racist and bigoted memes, harassment, trolling, hate speech may get you a **Permanent Ban** at the moderators discretion. • **This sort of behaviour, WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.**
6. Don't mention these in your posts!: • No memes about violent tragedies, or any sort of violence, this coild be seen as glorifying violence. • NO school shooter memes! • Posts/comments that can be seen as glorifying violence will result in a ban. • DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR POSTS; mentioning or regarding: Deaths, terrorist attacks, rape, sexual assault, pedo, murder, war, bombings, suicide, dirty jokes, gore, violence, porn, nazis, sex, etc. • **Breaking this rule will result in a Permanent Ban.**
7. NO dirty jokes/references/content!: • No Mass Trends. • Images of being banned or having a post removed from this or any subreddit will be removed and subject to ban. • No perverted content. • Posts must be marked NSFW; if it is containing Nudity. • **No porn content/pornography.** • No watermarks or shilling your favourite YouTube star/content creator. • No spam bots, no porn bots. • No gore posts or comments. • **No dirty jokes/content/references** • **Breaking the above will get a PERMANT BAN!**
8. No spamming and no site raiding!: • Do not post raid messages or encourage others to flood or spam this sub, or any other sub. • **Do not spam this sub, it's that simple!** • Spamming links is prohibited, any link found linking to your social media account/s will get you a Permanent Ban! • No Self Advertisement • No ADVERTISING! • **Any user that we find out that is a serial reposter, Will Be Banned Permanently!**
9. Do not post or request personal information!: • Please do not post or request personal information, yours or others. • All posts containing social media IDs/usernames will be removed. • Do not post images with watermarks to other sites users, or watermarks from companies.
10. No Petitions!: • No PETITIONS! • No pushing agendas! • Although this is already in another rule. **NO REPOSTS, WE MEAN IT!** • **No petitions**, this community is based on memes. If you want to start a petition on something/someone please go somewhere else! • **The moderators of this community may take down low quality posts, unless it's titled under the "low quality meme" post flair.** (PLEASE NOTE: we are currently experimenting with this).
11. NO karma begging/farming, Meta-Reddit References.: • Do not mention about anything to do with upvotes/downvotes/cake days/karma/etc. In your posts in any form. • No images/screenshot of upvote/downvote arrows, awards or karma. • **No "Upvote in..." or "Downvote if..." type titles or memes in your posts.** • No Karma begging in comments of posts, and do not use any sort of karma begging title in your posts. • Karma Begging, will result in a temporary ban. • **No Memes about votes, likes, Reddit comments, Discussions, baiting, etc.**
12. No memes about politics!: • Any meme featuring politicians is allowed for now, however this sub does not allow content more suited for /r/politicalhumour. • **No Political drama, politician news, court cases, etc.**
13. Projects and Things; Coming Soon.: Since no one in this community really likes our Mod Posts very much, we all decided to post future projects right here for now (once of thing). 1. A discord server in the works. 2. Meme the week (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place). 3. Improvements to this subreddit. 4. Activities to keep you all entertained. 5. New features soon. 6.
