Can you post your project here?

Self-promotion, including linking to your own blog or website, is not allowed. All advice and links should be public. If you believe your situation is an exception, you must message the moderators.

Before you post: Rule R3 explicitly bans self-promotion. Users are instructed to message the mods for potential exceptions.

The rules, in their words

  1. R1: No recommending dominance as training method: [Dominance theory](https://apdt.com/resource-center/dominance-and-dog-training/) has been discounted and should not be used as a basis for making decisions about dog behaviour or training, so [forget about being alpha in your pack](http://www.kathysdao.com/articles/forget-about-being-alpha/).
  2. R2: No aversive training methods: We do not support [positive punishment to control or train dogs](http://psychology.about.com/od/operantconditioning/f/positive-punishment.htm). Prohibited methods and tools include shock collars, prong/pinch collars, choke collars, leash checks, spray bottles, spray collars, anti-bark collars, alpha rolls, hitting, kicking, and invisible fencing, among others. This subreddit focuses on the [least intrusive, minimally aversive approach](https://iaabc.org/en/lima)
  3. R3: No self promotion: No linking to your own blog or website, or asking people to DM you instead of posting public advice. That includes your username. If you've come here to contribute to this community, great! If you've come to advertise your site, then you can [buy advertising](https://about.reddit.com/advertise/) on reddit. There are also reddit-wide guidelines against [self-promotion](https://www.reddit.com/wiki/selfpromotion). If you think your case is a hugely important exception, message the mods about it.
  4. R4: No off-topic posts: Posts need to be about dog training.
  5. R5: No rude/insulting behavior: Moderators reserve the right to delete content that is off-topic, inflammatory, insulting, mean, needlessly judgemental, or just plain stupid.
  6. R6: No spam: Spammy link/video posts with no discussion are prohibited.
