Can you post your project here?

Original posts linking to your blog or shop are generally not allowed, but you can link in comments if it's relevant to a shop post, to answer a question, or to share a free pattern. Use the 90-10 rule as a guide for self-promotion, meaning 90% of your activity should be non-promotional.

Before you post: Linking to your blog/shop is okay in comments under specific circumstances (e.g., answering a question, providing a free pattern, or for a [SHOP] post), and the 90-10 rule should be followed.

The rules, in their words

1. Be supportive, welcoming, and kind.: Remember the human. Follow good Reddiquette.
2. Read FAQ & How To before posting: Read the [FAQ & How To](https://www.crossstitchsubfaq.com/) before posting a question. This resource has everything, including [pattern making programs, apps & websites](https://www.crossstitchsubfaq.com/resources/pattern-design), finishing techniques, and getting started.
3. Don't request, share, or post photos of patterns: Don’t request, share, or post photos of copyrighted patterns. Patterns should not be in any photograph unless asking for help on how to read a zoomed in portion. Any patterns in the background of photos must be obfuscated or blacked out. 4. Include pattern source with FO tag: Include a [Pattern Source](https://www.reddit.com/r/CrossStitch/comments/50lar8/psa_lets_talk_about_rule_four/) in an [FO] Post. Sources can include: “self-drafted”, store name, pattern name, or internet search. Do not link directly to Pinterest or Google, just state the website.
5. Only cross-stitch and blackwork are allowed.: We have changed this rule to allow only cross stitch and blackwork as of 8/1/2021. All future embroidery pieces will be removed from the sub and directed to /r/embroidery. 6.
