Can you post your project here?

Posts featuring your own colorization projects must include the original unaltered black and white photo and have an informative title with the date. While direct sales and money tips are banned, links to relevant social media are permitted to be included in the post.

Before you post: No sales or money tips allowed. Links to social media are allowed if related to photo restoration/colorization. Must include original B&W photo. Title must be informative and include the date.

The rules, in their words

1. Treat others with respect: Name-calling, harassment, and threatening behaviour will not be tolerated here. The mods can and will ban you if your behaviour is inappropriate. Otherwise, you will be given a warning.
2. Original UNALTERED black and white photo needs to be included: Every post must include the original UNALTERED black and white photo (it is just a matter of paying respect to the original photographer). If you can provide a link to where you found the photo, that would also be a good thing to add to your post via a comment.
3. Every post title must be an informative title (DATE must be included): Every post title must be an informative title, for example, Name, Location & Date; all other information can be included in the post as a comment. If you are posting a W.I.P. (work in progress), please include that at the beginning of your title and use the W.I.P. post flair. If no date is known state at the end of your title "Date unknown"
4. Not see your post?: If you are not seeing your post, please politely get in touch through ModMail it is very possible your post may have been caught up in the Spam filter, which is controlled through an Autobot (please don’t be abusive; it will get you Nowhere but banned)
5. A.I colorizations: A.I. is allowed in this sub if it is used as a base colour. Meaning if your colourization is very clearly done with just A.I., the mods can and will remove your post until you can provide evidence that the colourization was done manually or with a little help from A.I.
6. User flairs: This sub allows user flairs, so feel free to include your social media handle as your flair. Rude language will not be tolerated, and the mods have the right to remove your user flair if it is deemed offensive. (Repeated warnings will have you banned).
7. No Sales, No tips (money tips) and no requests: No links to sale sites of any kind, No Money tips and No colorization requests. You can visit /r/colorizationrequests or /r/estorations if you want your photos done.
8. Links to your social media are allowed: If you would like, you can include a link to your social media pages (FB, Instagram, etc.), within your post, but it must be Photo Restoration and Colorisation related.
9. Using other peoples colorized photos: Please get permission from the original colouriser before posting, and don't post someone else's colourization just to get Karma (it's selfish and silly)
