Self-promotion is generally discouraged, but can be allowed if it follows the 90/10 rule and is posted in the Wednesday General sticky thread or as a relevant comment. Excessive self-promotion and advertising of servers/subreddits are banned.

The rules, in their words

1. Context - BNHA-related: Everything posted here must be My Hero Academia related.
2. No untagged spoilers: Do not post untagged spoilers, unless within the confines of a discussion thread of the latest chapter or episode. No spoiler titles of any kind. **24 Hour Rule** - all discussion and related posts must be kept within the discussion post for 24 hours for both the manga chapters and anime episodes.
3. Fanwork-related Rules: All fanwork must link directly to the artist/source. Only 1 fanwork post per day, per user, is allowed. This includes official game art as well. NSFW is not allowed. Unfinished work is not allowed. Redraws of other people's fanart are not allowed. If it's your own work, please mention it in the title or comment. All fanwork includes but not limited to: fanart, cosplay, edits, amvs, fanfiction
4. No link shortening services: Do not use link shortening services.
5. Low quality content / shitpost: No memes, image macros, reaction images, "fixed" posts, rage comics or single panels/frames (unless it's to form a discussion). 6. No Shipping: No shipping-related fanworks. You can share shipping fanart or stories in the shipping subreddit.
7. No personal attacks or thread derailment: Also called "remember the human". You can disagree with other users without resorting to personal attacks or insults. Do not use hate speech. And please do not intentionally derail discussion. Please follow the [reddiquette](https://www.reddithelp.com/en/categories/reddit-101/reddit-basics/reddiquette).
8. No excessive self-promotion: No excessive self-promotion, and don't post threads to advertise discord servers or offshoot subreddits (this is for any type of servers/subreddits — roleplaying, memes, character-centric, etc). If you'd like to advertise, post about it in the Wednesday General sticky thread, or as relevant comments in other threads. 9. Links to illegal sources are prohibited: Asking for an illegal link will have your post and/or comment removed. Providing an illegal link will be punished with a 1 day ban. Repeat offenders will receive longer bans.
10. Leaks: All leaks must stay inside their respective Pre-Release Thread. Comments about their content outside of the thread will result in a 30-day ban.
11. Mature/hateful content: Do not make posts/comments from accounts that contain or lead to mature or hateful content. Anyone caught doing that will get their post and/or comment deleted.
