Can you post your project here?

This subreddit is primarily for Spongebob memes, fan art, and cosplays. While original content is appreciated, posts should not simply feature characters without being a meme. Reposting and low-effort content are prohibited.

Before you post: The rules do not mention any allowance for self-promotion or sharing personal projects/products, and the subreddit's focus is strictly on Spongebob memes. Therefore, such posts are likely to be removed.

The rules, in their words

1. All posts must be related to Spongebob: All posts related to Spongebob are allowed BUT do not post content just because it features a resident of Bikini Bottom. If you want a sub catered to that sort of thing, check out or post it to r/Spongebob *because this subreddit is all about memes, fan arts, cosplays, etc.* Any non-Spongebob meme template is okay as long as the caption of the meme is related to the show itself.
2. ABSOLUTELY NO REPOSTS.: Posts must have not been posts *in this subreddit* before. Use these two nifty little tools to determine whether or not your post has already been here. [Tool 1](https://www.labnol.org/reverse/) [Tool 2](https://tineye.com/)
3. Don't be a dick.: No racism against squirrels. No hate speech. No posts about how different Pearl is from her father. No karmawhoring or posting memes about people's death.
4. Do not put the punchline in the title of the post.: Having a funny picture of a Bikini Bottom resident and using the title as the punchline *does not make your post a meme.*
5. Do not post really low-effort memes.: Using excessively overdone and/or outdated templates, posting something that is excruciatingly unfunny, aswell as posting something that simply doesn't make any sense... You get the idea. Since this does not specify what is a low-effort meme, this rule will be applied on a case-to-case basis
6. NO BEGGING: No memes about cakedays, asking for upvotes, etc.
7. No spamming.: More than 4 posts in 24 hours is considered spam.
8. No piracy: Don't upload videos that are literally just scenes, or worse, full episodes from the show, with zero modification.
