1. This includes discrimination based on religion, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, as well as discrimination against sex work(ers). Comments making fun of, mocking, or making light of these issues will be removed. This includes both outright discriminatory language as well as microaggressions and tone policing.
3. No derogatory remarks regarding health, body, age, or appearance. No health speculation.: Comments or posts that make fun of or trivialize health issues are not welcome. Comments or posts making fun of someone’s physical appearance, or something that they cannot control, will be removed as well. This includes ageism. 4. No speculation on sexual history, sexual orientation, or gender identity: Do not intentionally misgender people, use dead names, or refer to someone with the incorrect pronouns. 5. No self promotion: No self promotion, except in our weekly Self Promotion post and user flair. Our weekly self-promotion post is every Sunday. All other self-promotion will be removed. This includes YouTube channels, personal blogs, or social media accounts. Do not mention your channel or try to direct traffic to your channel in our subreddit. Posts must fit within BeautyGuruChatter’s topics: Allowed topics: - Beauty content posted by a BG - Major BG updates - Content about a BG that is not posted by them, but directly related to them - Info and commentary about the beauty industry and brands - Reviews of BG brand products - BG search posts - Beauty community/industry discussion - Drama, controversies, and news related to any of the above topics. 7. 8. Megathreads: To prevent clutter when a major situation or controversy occurs in the community, the mods are able to create a megathread. Megathreads will only be implemented only if the situation is of a large scale (5+ posts on a topic in a short time). When this happens, all related happenings should be shared within the megathread rather than making new posts. If a megathread exists about a topic, new related posts will be removed. If megathreads are implemented, there will be no cap on the comments.
9. Sh*tposts only on Mondays: The community voted in favor to have one day a week for shitposting and memes. The mods have designated Mondays for this. On Mondays, stand alone posts that memes or shit posts but ONLY on Monday. Weekly on Monday at [11:00 AM GMT](https://greenwichmeantime.com/time-gadgets/time-zone-converter/), at which time an automated post will go up announcing that Shitpost Monday is open.
10.
